Informativa sulla privacy
Ultimo aggiornamento: 28-10-2026
4. Cookies
Questo sito non utilizza cookie di profilazione.
5. I tuoi diritti
7. Note sui percorsi
Privacy policy
Last updated: 10-28-2026
1. Who is the data controller
The data controller is Ludovico Manganiello, who can be reached at info@pedalarelento.com. This site publishes bike routes for personal, non-commercial purposes.
2. What data we collect and why
Browsing. The site is hosted on Netlify, which may record technical connection data (such as IP address, date and time, requested page) to run and protect the service.
Language. The site stores your chosen language (Italian or English) in your browser so it can remember it on your next visit. This is a technical memory that stays on your device, contains no personal data and is not sent to anyone.
Statistics. To know how many people visit the site we use GoatCounter, a tool that counts visits in aggregate form, without cookies and without profiling individual visitors.
Contact. If you write to us by email, we use your address and the content of your message only to reply.
Route reports. If you report a problem on a route (through the form or by email) we collect the route name, the spot or km you indicate, your description and, only if you choose to leave it, your email. We use this data solely to check and update the routes and, if you leave your email, to reply to you. Reports are deleted when no longer needed, and in any case within 12 months.
3. Third-party services
To display maps, your browser connects to external services, which receive your IP address and the technical data needed to deliver the content:
- OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation), for the map images.
Links to Instagram and TikTok profiles are plain links: those services receive data only if you click, and their own policies apply.
The report form is a Google Form: it opens on Google's website, which receives the data you enter and technical connection data, and stores them on our behalf according to its privacy policy. If you are signed in to a Google account, your address is not collected by the form.
If you join the WhatsApp Community, your data (phone number and display name) will be handled by WhatsApp in accordance with its Privacy Policy. The website only contains a link.
4. Cookies
This site does not use profiling cookies.
5. Your rights
Under EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) you can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing, as well as withdraw consent where processing is based on it. Write to info@pedalarelento.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority or with the authority in your own country.
6. Changes
This policy may be updated, for example when new services are added. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
7. About the routes
The routes published on Pedalare Lento describe rides I have done myself and are for information only. Over time, roads, trails, surfaces, signage and access may change due to works, weather, closures or new restrictions. GPX tracks, data (distance, elevation, route type) and water points may contain inaccuracies.
Before setting off, check route conditions and the weather, follow the Highway Code and local restrictions, wear a helmet and use a bike in good condition, and consider whether the route suits your fitness. Anyone following these routes does so at their own risk.
If you find something has changed, write to info@pedalarelento.com: it helps me keep everything up to date.
